DP 18 will continue to work for people

PHILIPSBURG--The Democratic Party (DP) will continue to work for the people of St. Maarten, said party leader Member of Parliament Sarah Wescot-Williams after she handed in her slate of 18 candidates to the Main Voting Bureau on Monday morning.   "People want quality, calibre and loyalty to represent them," said Wescot-Williams. DP has built the foundation of the country and made it possible for many of the developments other parties are "boasting of today ... we made it possible."   Wescot-Williams heads the red list. The other 17 candidates are Health Minister Emil Lee, Jorien Wuite, Perry Geerlings, Hasani Ellis, Raphael Arrindell, Reginald Willemsberg, Jelle Hamstra, Chasen Williams, Patsy Flanders, Marvio Cooks, Harry Brown, Carmen Hodge-Smith, Yoan Adams, Jacqueline Brooks, Shirley Hilaire, Marinka Gumbs and Conrad Richardson.
