When we think fitness, we nearly always think WEIGHT LOSS. Why? I think it’s because nearly everybody around us likes to lose weight in one way or another: the belly, the hips, the legs or upper arms. There is always a place on our body that we feel could look slimmer and more toned.
Luckily, over the last couple of years, women are not the only ones more aware of their weight, looks and appearance, but men are too. More beauty products are on the market and more commercials appear on television and in magazines. So we all agree that men are more aware of their appearance and so the average man is now visiting the gym or personal studio more than he used to before.
Question: Since both women and men go to the gym; why do men lose weight faster than most women?
Answer: Men tend to have more lean muscle tissue, which burns more calories than body fat, even during rest. And when men and women cut the same number of calories, men usually lose more weight – but it's short-term.
So what are we doing in our FAMOUS weight loss training program? Basically, if you need to lose at least 10 pounds either for medical reasons or just because you want to look and feel better, we invite you to subscribe to our weight loss training program.
Over the years, I have designed a very effective way to make people lose weight in a fast way – not with shakes or eating salads only. NO!! Losing weight with shakes means success for a little while, but then in no time you’ll gain back the same weight or even more.
First, you get a chance to enrol in the weight loss program with other people who have the same goal as you: LOSING THAT WEIGHT. We teach you that with eating, you can still lose weight; that if you make the right choices and combinations, you can still eat nice food. Positive thinking is also one of the major ingredients in achieving success.
You also get exercise on our hydraulic machines – the only ones in Sint Maarten – that are very gentile on the joints. And we slowly bring you to a cardio level you thought was not possible in such a short time. After the third week, you will be amazed at how you feel. My advice is to sign up with a friend or family member. The fact that you don’t do this alone will absolutely help you be successful. We will teach you to train your body the right way and will explain to you why we do such exercises. In the beginning, you will either lose weight or lose inches off your waist, legs and arms.
Is four weeks enough? It’s a start. You should see four weeks as a kick-start as this will at least give you enough time to get close to what you want by Christmastime. If that is your goal, then you can start thinking about enrolling by the beginning of next month. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Christmas is around the corner and before we know it, we are going from one party to the other, one food event to the other, eating more than we want to. But if you are strict from now on till Christmas, I can promise you that those two weeks of the Christmas- New Year season won’t harm you if you go back to your routine after those two weeks. Weight Loss Training is for one hour on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 or 9:00 am and 4:00, 5:00 or 6:00 pm.
