The Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard (DCCG) hosted a recruitment drive on Saturday, where prospective officers and their friends, family and loved ones had the opportunity to look at equipment, receive information about basic training and participate in drills, and go on board the Metal Shark quick-response boats and patrol vessel “Poema”.
Dozens showed up to the event and browsed through the stalls, including Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs and Justice Minister Anna Richardson.
