Better with age

Daughters of The King (DOTK) honoured Browlia Gibbs (72) at its recent Mother and Daughter pageant on Sunday. She was the oldest mother present at the event. Gibbs (centre) is a member of Bethel Methodist Church choir and of the Chapel Piece Health and Recreational Club.

For many years she has been involved in numerous community activities. Mistress of Ceremony Charity Sam (left) presented the prize to Gibbs on behalf of DOTK. In her acceptance speech, Gibbs spoke of her four sons and the love they have for each other. One of her son, Collin Gibbs (right) was present at the event.
