Congestion city

Pointe Blanche residents have to suffer through what they are now calling the "Wednesday Jam" – the snail-pace flow of traffic that causes a back-up deep into the one-road accessible neighbourhood. This back-up of traffic primarily happens on Wednesdays when more than one large cruise ship is in town.

The ships’ traffic and the ongoing road work have resulted in numerous setbacks for people waiting for cargo, contractors and building materials.
