A man was arrested on Thursday morning in his home at Stand Over Gardens, Lower Prince’s Quarter area. According to a short press release from the Prosecutor’s Office on Thursday, the arrest has to do with cross-border drug-trafficking and money-laundering.
The suspect’s home was searched under supervision of a Judge of Instruction, resulting in the seizure of drugs and assets. The arrest and a subsequent search were jointly performed by the Kingdom Detective Cooperation Team RST and the Police Force. The man will remain behind bars for now, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.
