A sight that was usually seen at Princess Juliana International Airport was at the Anguilla airport on Thursday. Private jets were parked wingtip-to-wingtip after delivering Thanksgiving travellers.

St. Maarten's competition in all areas of tourism has continued to sharpen more and more since the 2017 hurricanes. Observers worry that the country is losing time in regaining its ground in the tourism world, a sector it has shaped and helped to build in the past five decades.
