Gasoline price going up, diesel fuel less expensive

PHILIPSBURG--Motorists with gasoline-fuelled vehicles will have to pay more at the pumps as of 6:00am Thursday when the Government-regulated prices will be increased due to price changes on the international oil market.

Unleaded gasoline will cost NAf. 1.88 per litre as of Thursday morning, an increase from NAf. 1.82 per litre.

By contrast, the price for diesel fuel, which was at NAf. 1.36 per litre, will be decreased to NAf. 1.34, the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transportation and Telecommunication announced in a statement on Tuesday evening.
