MAHO--Armed robbers stormed a jewellery store in the Maho area and made off with their loot early Monday evening.
Five men dressed entirely in black with gloves entered Island Treasure Jewelers around 8:00pm, smashed the display cases to snatch the loot and escaped in a white minivan in the direction of the Lowlands, police spokesperson Inspector E.S. Josepha told The Daily Herald.
The suspects fired one shot during the robbery, but nobody was injured. No further details were available at press time.
