Reverend Vincia Celestine of Bethel Methodist Church in St. Eustatius underlined the power of hope in her Easter Sunday message.
“Everyone is comforted by his or her expectations – perhaps a longer life, a better world or better days and material comforts. The shopping list of hopes can be lengthy and so can the list of disappointments,” she said. “We should never be alarmed. The message is about ‘know-so’ hope – hope that will never die.” In photo: Reverend Celestine in front of a wooden cross decorated by Methodist Church members.
