MIDDLE REGION--A man was sent to the emergency room on Monday afternoon after having sustained a gunshot wound in the upper body.
According to police, an unknown suspect shot the man in Middle Region near Romeo’s Drive sometime around noon Monday.
He was rushed to St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC), where he had to be given emergency medical care.
Police have not released any more information about the incident.
