PHILIPSBURG--The Electoral Council has closed its office from Monday, March 23, and said it would continue to monitor the advice of the government of St. Maarten concerning the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Electoral Council is requesting candidates who still need to complete their donation registration, to do so before the final deadline of March 31. During this period, the Electoral Council will accept the donation forms digitally via its office email address. The hard copies can be submitted once the council resumes normal operations.
