Officer charged, then suspended

ANGUILLA--The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) reports that on Friday, May 25, one of its officers was suspended after being charged with causing grievous bodily harm. The officer who appeared at the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, May 28, was charged with the offence and granted bail in the sum of EC $55,000 with one surety.

The officer will remain on suspension with half salary until the completion of said matters before the court.
