Haitian organisations on the island will be hosting a fun event at the Philipsburg Cultural Centre on Back Street today, Friday, in celebration of 215 years of Haiti’s independence.
Organising committee Chairman Dominique Vital invites residents of St. Maarten to come out at 7:00pm and enjoy the planned manifestation. United Haitian Foundation President Lamicia Celicus wishes all Haitians on the island a happy Independence Day.
