Prices for gasoline, diesel fuel going up on Tuesday

PHILIPSBURG--Due to developments on the international market during which the prices of crude oil experienced upward adjustments for unleaded gasoline and for diesel fuel, the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunications (TEATT) announced Sunday it has decided to increase the maximum consumer prices at the pumps for these types of fuel.

  As of 6:00am Tuesday, October 1, the maximum price of unleaded gasoline will go up by 4.7 cents from the current price of NAf. 1.921 per litre to the new price of NAf. 1.968 per litre, the TEATT Ministry stated in a public announcement pertaining to the price change in petroleum products.

  Also on Tuesday, the price of diesel fuel (gasoil) will be increased by 12 cents from NAf. 1.524 to the new price of NAf. 1.644 per litre, TEATT said.
