SYNOPSIS:
The atmosphere over the region has become relatively stable in the wake of Tropical Storm Laura. However, lingering moisture may cause a few passing showers.
Seas are expected to peak near 7 feet during the next 24 hours. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.

SPECIAL FEATURE:
At 11am, the center of Tropical Storm Laura was located about 660 miles west of St. Maarten. Laura is moving toward the west northwest (away from St. Maarten) at 21 mph. Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph with higher gusts. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 140 miles from the center.
