Tropical Carnival launches 2018 adult troupe costumes

MAHO--Carnival troupe Tropical Carnival launched their 2018 Carnival costumes at Refuge on Saturday. Organisers said they remain ready for the adult group set to take part in the 2018 Carnival Grand Parade in April.

Troupe leader Sade Hodge thanked all those who came out and supported the event and hoped interested parties can take time out and visit their website

www.Tropicalcarnival.sx . Registrations for children, pre-teens, teens and adults are now open at the mas camp located upstairs in the blue building next to Island Finance on Walter J. Nisbeth Road. Hodge can be contacted by telephone at 1-721-524-9049.

Close to 90 children were part of the 2017 troupe. “This year’s Carnival will be special and we hope to get more support from sponsors. We have a boys’ section and our costumes are made by the best designers in the business,” concluded Hodge.
