PHILIPSBURG--Utilities company GEBE is still trying to determine the reason for a countrywide outage that gripped households and businesses just after 4:00pm.
GEBE Media Relations officer Paula Gordon said in a brief message, “We are experiencing a total blackout. More information to be provided as soon as it’s received.”
Shortly after 6:00pm, Gordon said all areas had been restored with power, adding, “NV GEBE is still determining the cause of the blackout.”
