Windward Islands Airways International is to take possession of its new aircraft on November 12. Local Civil Aviation Department representatives will have to head to Calgary, Ontario, Canada, to review the plane and give it certification.
Winair Chief Executive Officer Michael Cleaver told The Daily Herald the airline’s fourth aircraft is to begin transporting customers by the United States’ Thanksgiving, the traditional start of the high air traffic season. “The body of the aircraft is already decked out in our colours. We are very happy to see the growth of our fleet,” Cleaver said.
