SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic--Arajet, the low-priced airline from the Dominican Republic, is commemorating its second anniversary of operations, which will be celebrated on September 15, and therefore began the month with a special promotion to reward all its users and continent travellers with flights from US $2.

The young airline started this anniversary campaign as a gesture of gratitude to the more than 1.3 million passengers who have preferred it as their means of transport and for anyone who wishes to travel in their new and modern aircraft, safe, at the best price and with the highest world quality standards. As explained in a press release, this interesting offer will be available with prices starting at $2 each way and without taxes included and applies to the 23 destinations in the 16 countries where it operates, as well as to the more than 200 combinations of connections it offers.

Its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder, Victor Pacheco highlighted that Arajet's goal is to contribute to making commercial aviation more accessible to a greater number of people by eliminating the economic barriers that have historically restricted air mobility so that all those who wish to travel can do so. "Arajet is celebrating this anniversary and we are happy to rejoice it with the people," and added that said airline "believes in the democratisation of the skies, so that no one is left without flying; we will continue to expand on the continent by increasing our network of destinations, frequencies and fleet of aircraft," said Pacheco Méndez.

In just two years, Arajet has broken all the records of passengers flown for an airline in the Dominican Republic, with a fleet of 10 Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, one of the most modern and efficient in the world. In addition, it is the second airline that carries the most passengers at Las Americas International Airport and was recognised as the best new airline in the world at the 2023 Centre for Aviation CAPA Awards.

This special rate began September 1 and will continue until September 15, with a limited number of seats on each flight offered by Arajet during the promotional period. Apply for the Smart fare package, to travel from October 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. ~ Curaçao Chronicle ~
