Earthquake off Antigua

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua--A 4.8-magnitude earthquake shook Antigua and Barbuda Monday morning.

  According to the University of the West Indies (UWI) Seismic Research Centre, the quake occurred around 6:15am, 35 kilometres (km) north-northwest of the capital St. John’s and 90km east of Basseterre, St. Kitts.

  The depth given in the initial report was 31km.

  There were no initial reports of damage or injury. ~ Caribbean360 ~
