Young Kings pitcher, Reginald Gibbs throws to Golden Rays batter, Alfredo ‘Pocho’ Schmidt in the last game of the first round of the Statia softball season took place at the Fredrick ‘Sonny’ Cranston Sports Field on Wednesday. Golden Rays won 18-16. The Golden Rays jumped out to a big 15-5 lead by the fifth inning. The Young Kings tried to mount a comeback, but it fell short. The next softball game will feature Thunderz and Tiburones on Saturday.
