The team of Alex Schvartz and Nicolas Jaume won the Male 35 + division of the first Senior Padel Tennis Tour of the Americas held at the SXM Padel Club and the Belair Fitness Center over the weekend. Schvartz and Jaume bested the team of Roque Roasio of Argentina and Marcelo Pedrotti in the final.
More than 40 teams representing Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Curacao, Ecuador, France, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Netherlands, Panama, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, Spain, Suriname, United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela competed in the tournament.
The competition featured three male groups divided by age and one open female group.
Enrique Tracchia and Eduardo Casabo won the male age 45 group. Alex Schvartz and Patrick Marmolejo finished as sub champions.
Roque Roasio and Gustavo Ferrero teamed up to win the 55plus division. Mautis Miranda and Damien Coppolani placed second.
The female division was won by Lorena Jarrin and Silvana Cobino, They beat the international team of Christine Rousseaux from France and Vanina Gerad of Belgium in the final.
