How to make a clothespin butterfly
Materials to make one butterfly
1 white coffee filter
Water colour paints
Paintbrush
Wooden clothespin
2 googly eyes
1 small pom-pom
Glue
Pipe cleaner
Old newspaper to keep your table clean
Paper towel
Directions
Wear old clothes.
Cover your work table in old newspaper.
Place a few sheets of paper towel under your coffee filter.
Paint your coffee filter with your favourite colours – any pattern you like.
Leave your filter to dry.
When your filter is dry, gather and pinch it in the middle to form two wings.
Open the clothespin and clip it to the middle of the filter.
Stick the googly eyes to the clothespin.
Stick on the pom-pom nose.
Wrap the pipe cleaner around the clothespin to form antennae.
