‘H’ is for Horse

You can make a horse out of the upper case or lower-case letter H/h!
Adult supervision may be needed.

You will need
Firm paper
Scissors
Glue
Colouring pencils

Instructions
Trace or draw a capital letter H or a small letter h on a piece of paper.
You can do this on any coloured paper.
Cut out the template on any colour paper that is not the same as your letter.
Cut out the pieces.
Glue the face to the front of the H/h
Glue the ears and hair onto the top of the H/h
Glue the mane down the stem of the H/h
Glue the tail on the back of the H/h
Glue the two hooves onto the bottom of the H/h

Did you know?
Horses have hair not fur. A group of horses is called a herd. Horses’ feet are called hooves – one foot is called a hoof. Hooves are much like nails on a person’s fingers. A special person called a farrier is needed to trim the horse’s hooves.
