Summer Sailing Fun

~ At SMYC ~

Summer is here and the big question is: “What fun summer camps are out there for you?”

With many options to choose from, it may become overwhelming; so why not choose one that offers a fun variety of activities?

The Summer Sailing Camp at Sint Maarten Yacht Club (SMYC) is mostly about learning to sail, and it’s open to beginners as well as advanced students.

We introduce kids between the ages of eight and 16 to sailing, but combine this with fun water activities, visits to marine related businesses, picnics, swimming, paddle-boarding and much more!

Every day will be filled with fun and, most importantly, kids can go from their first time on the water, to sailing their own boat within one week!

The camp takes place from June 18 to August 17 from 9:00am to 4:30pm at SMYC, next to the Simpson Bay Bridge. Cost for the week is $225 and includes lunch, snacks and drinks; and if you book before June 15, a $25 discount per week will be extended!

All that is required is a basic level of swimming, and an interest in having fun in the sun and on the water!
