Astra offers an array of seafood and steak dishes with vegan options as you dine in the striking open-air setting. Their Sunday brunch special from 10:00am to 4:00pm is slowly becoming a more popular favourite among the local crowd.
To many, brunch is a combination of breakfast and lunch, and regularly has some form of alcoholic drink served with it. It is usually served any time before 3 o'clock in the afternoon. The word is a portmanteau of breakfast and lunch; but to others, brunch is more than that – it’s an experience. Whether you were out drinking the night before and want something substantial the next day, or you’d like to enjoy your breakfast late and lunch early; one thing is clear, brunch is the place to be on Sundays, and Astra is such a spot.
Astra made its grand debut earlier in the month, showing the island some of what it has to offer. Its dazzling grand opening was met with rave reviews. It is a full, open-air restaurant, complete with a bar space and air-conditioned bathrooms. Aside from brunch Sundays, the restaurant features Martini night on Wednesdays, with $5 martinis. The wine list is extensive and the flavours are Chic Caribbean. The price range depends on the dish you choose, so make sure to ask your waiter about the specials on other days, not just Sunday.
Sunday brunch features $19.99 a la carte menu with unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys. The Astra brunch doesn’t offer a buffet, since theirs has a more gourmet setting. If you do decide to go, which you should, try the most popular dish – steak & eggs! You should also definitely try the catch of the day, which features fresh, locally-caught fish and lobsters. Open all day, Astra offers its fresh fish fry for lunch and dinner.

All staffers wear masks, everything is sanitised and properly cleaned daily and after each use. Hand sanitisers are available, the entire restaurant is open-air and the tables are spaced for social distancing.
Opening hours for now are from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Happy Hour; the dinner service runs from 4:00pm to 11:00pm every day.
