Throughout the day, there will be moments when this state-of-the-art truck is a super busy hot spot to get coffee, to chat and to hangout! Very early in the morning during rush-hour, it’s a student pick-up area, in which the hottest items are coffee, hot chocolate and crepes! Later on in the morning, people tend to choose various coffee blends, including frappuccino.
The coffee that is served at Beyond Coffee is the Puro Coffee brand, and there are various types of great Coffee Mixtures made with this excellent high-quality coffee, including the following:
-Frozen Coffees
-Frappuccinos, especially Frozen Mocha which is their most popular Frozen Frappuccino
-Many types of lattes
-Many other types of coffees
The popular Frozen Mocha is spun into various flavours such as Vanilla Mocha, Caramel Mocha, Blue Ivy (made of the super food Spirulina), and of course Regular. What’s amazing is that there is no sugar added, as the coffees are sweetened with monk fruit which is diabetic friendly.
The truck also carries Seasonal Lattes. Look out for these limited-time only selections, such as the upcoming Valentine’s Day lattes and Carnival selections.
Although the truck has limited space, Beyond Coffee not only carries a wide variety of coffees, but also snacks and treats to accompany that really good coffee. Yes, a proper Coffee corner requires proper pairing. The delicious, sugar-free banana bread and the popular coconut brownie both pair so well with coffee. Also the mighty Matcha Superfood bites are really tasty and good for you!
For those who are a bit more conscious of their eating, there are raw bites that are nut based, wholefood based, and super-foods based. You can also try the refreshing and light Vegan Yoghurts and Parfaits, which are coconut and almond parfaits. There are different things every day, as every day is not the same – remember these are fresh quality treats.
When you are in a hurry, this is the perfect stop as Beyond Coffee provides on-the-go snacks: cups to go, stuffed vegan pitas, small sandwiches – both gluten and gluten free. The vegetarian Portobello Mushroom pockets with goat cheese and sundried tomatoes are a big hit and available daily.
Puro Coffee
Beyond Coffee was conceptualized when two friends with like ideas and focus decided to change the outlook of Coffee Culture in St. Maarten. “Coffee on the Go” their vision!
Having travelled and seen the idea in Aruba, they decided to bring PURO COFFEE to St. Maarten.
Catalina Ahlip and Monisha Jandial, owners of Beyond Coffee, want to serve coffee with a personal touch. When you pass by Beyond Coffee, you get a bundle of choices: hot or cold, savoury or sweet, but mostly service with a smile to make sure your belly is happy and healthy.
Puro Coffee is a fair-trade coffee; they can offer their customers a fair trade for coffee and the coffee comes from Colombia, Costa Rica, Brazil and other small farmers, all based in South America. One percent of sales goes into saving the tropical forests! The mother company operates out of Belgium.
At Beyond Coffee, it matters that you enjoy treats and drinks that taste good and are health conscious, as Catalina Ahlip believes that “taste cannot be compromised”! Also, you cannot beat the convenience – a great location to pick up something to sip or snack on going into the supermarket and likewise when leaving the supermarket, having something to pick up like fresh pancakes to take home for family, friends or yourself to enjoy.
