Christmas Angles

It’s truly a time of giving. DADA prides itself on giving back to the community as much as it can and this year is no exception. This Christmas more than any other, Dance and Arts Dimensions Academy (DADA) Foundation would like to spread some “Christmas Cheer” by giving gifts to as many children on our island as possible and has therefore enlisted “Christmas Helping Angels” to assist with giving out 1,000 gifts this Sunday, December 17, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Belair Community Centre.

There will also be a grand entrance at 10:30am, so you don’t want to be late. The day will be filled with hugs, music, pictures, a grand entrance of the ambulance, fire department and more. We will be handing out gifts for children ages 0 to 15 years old. Parents are asked to be present with their child(ren) in order to receive the child’s gift. This is a family affair that will end with DADA’s “Christmas Recital” themed “Christmas is a time of Giving” encompassing all the students of DADA at 6:30 in the evening.

DADA is so grateful to the businesses, organizations and individuals who have supported this Christmas cause. To all supporters, DADA says, “Thank you in advance for your monetary donation or unwrapped gifts given. Your generous contributions will make a child very happy this Christmas. This is an enormous task; however, one that is very much possible with the assistance of many hands and hearts.”

DADA is still accepting unwrapped gifts and donations until Friday, December 15. Your gift of love to “Christmas Angels” will assist in making the event a very successful one.

Donations may be dropped off at DADA’s studio, located on the second floor of the Yogesh Building during the hours of 4:00 and 6:00pm.
