at Culture Queen in Nevis 2016

Memelie Jounne (22) will be representing her homeland St. Martin in the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant on August 1on the island of Nevis. There will be a pre-show in the form of a swimsuit competition on July 30.

Jounne, who walked away with awards for Miss Healthy Body and Miss Photogenic and placed third in this year’s overall TelCell Senior Queen Pageant competition, is very high spirited about participating in the upcoming competition. From gym to vocal training and walking, she has been training on a daily basis. As a French national, Jounne’s intentions are not just to make her side of the island proud but the entire island.

She learned at an early age that family is everything and that there is no perfect family, but with love and understanding, she plans to get through the toughest of times. She was born on April 26, 1994, under the zodiac sign of Taurus. Her hobbies include running, hiking, exercising, fishing and modelling.Jounne strongly believes that red meat is not good for the body and from an early age has been practicing that lifestyle of healthier eating. Her aspiration is to have her own business, where she can educate her country about living healthy.

Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant is a regional pageant held in Nevis during the Culturama festival.
