The 4th Annual Dog Day event was held on Friday, September 27, at Cocky Turtle in Simpson Bay. At Purina, “Your Pet, Our Passion” rings true as this event was held in honour of International Dog Day celebrated globally on August 26.
The day was filled with a beautiful sunset, several dog owners and their beloved dogs, animal welfare organisations and visitors to the island. Children and adults enjoyed the free popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones and face painting provided.
The entire Prime and Nestle Purina team was grateful and extremely happy with the weather, the turnout and all of the furry friends, who looked cute, got along with other dogs, and participated in the games.
A super host as always, Dr. Soc entertained the crowd and ensured that everyone had fun – humans and canines alike. Nestle Purina furnished quite a few excellent prizes including dry and wet dog food, doggie treats, and toys such as Frisbees and balls. The organisers sincerely look forward to the 5th Annual Dog Day event in 2025, which will be bigger and better than ever!
