A much-anticipated event on the calendar, the Pink Sunset Sail is more than just a sailing excursion. It is a celebration of life, a gesture of support, and a gathering of like-minded individuals all driven by a common goal: to raise awareness and funds for local breast cancer awareness foundations – Positive Foundation and Elektralytes Foundation.
This successful event is taking place for the eighth time and growing ever since. Having raised close to $7,000 in 2022, event organizers are looking to match, if not exceed this incredible figure in the upcoming event on September 30.
This sunset event is not merely a sail along St. Maarten’s beautiful coastal line; it’s a statement of solidarity with local breast cancer awareness foundations. The journey begins with a lively pink mixer at 3:30pm, a platform for forming connections and igniting conversations that matter.
As the clock strikes 5:30pm, the sails are set, and the cruise begins. Participants are treated to a magical journey across the Caribbean waters, with the setting sun painting the sky with shades of pink and gold. This picturesque backdrop serves as a poignant reminder of the strength and resilience of those who battle breast cancer, as well as those who support them.
A portion of the ticket sales from this event, along with the proceeds from the popular on-board raffle, will be donated to the local foundations.
