We’re two weeks into Try January, and Joga has cooked up something special for persons wanting to try something new this weekend. Joga, Sint Maarten/St. Martin's premiere Yoga, Pilates & Dance studio has started its IGNITE challenge. The challenge, which started on Saturday, January 2, is a 66-day challenge to help people prioritize their health & wellness within the start of the new year.
Why 66 days? Researchers from University College of London examined the new habits of 96 people over the space of 12 weeks, and found that the average time it takes for a new habit to stick or for a new behaviour to become automatic is actually 66 days. Each Saturday, Joga will announce a new challenge for the week, including special workshops and events such as Flow with the Beat, happening this Saturday January 16!
Flow with the Beat is an event in collaboration with Heineken’s 0.0 Try January campaign, the Joga team will be offering free sample classes to an electric live set by DJ BB Bad! Bianca Dijkhoffz is St. Maarten’s very own international, superstar dancer and artist who recently started developing her DJ career.

Cool off between sessions with complimentary, refreshing Heineken 0.0! Vegan bites are available for purchase by Jenny Budhrani and Maya Laungani. Classes will be held outdoors and social distancing will be respected.
