Gently nestled on the boardwalk at the head of town, beautifully overlooking the beach and the harbour lies a tiny store with big dreams. Run by Vanessa along with her right and left hands Mariesse and Lenddy, the shop boasts some of the biggest names in flip flop and shoe brands.
On Saturday, November 21, the store will be celebrating its fifth anniversary since its initial opening in 2010. Like any birthday party, there will be snacks and fun and drinks and music and gifts! Oh my! Come to the Boardwalk this Saturday and check out the store. Got kids? Bring them along! There will be a supervised bouncy house for the kids. X104.3 will be broadcasting live on location, turning out all the hits and reminding everyone to stop by and take advantage of the specials.
Flip Flop Shops is turning five years, so there will be 5% storewide discounts and a FREE special gift with every purchase! Not enough to lure you? How about this? With every purchase you make, a $5 donation will be made to K1 Britannia Foundation. This is a foundation that aims to provide for the less fortunate children of St. Maarten. Yes, you heard it! You will be able to shop and give back to the community. Flip Flop Shops will be donating, but you can choose to donate even more if you like; there will be a special donation box set up so that you can make a bigger contribution.
