This carnival, Fancy Faces Beauty Studio and Salon will be bringing their team of makeup professionals to St. Maarten to get revellers ready for the road! Before then, make-up enthusiasts are invited to take part in their International Artist Makeup MasterClass in Aruba on Monday, February 5, to learn the latest makeup techniques and trends from the best.
Fancy Faces creators Ruchella Yarzagaray and Angele Geerman are two entrepreneurial women from Aruba with a vision to elevate the world of beauty and makeup in the Caribbean, offering makeup services, beauty coaching and courses in Aruba since 2020.
Visionary and perfectionist, Ruchella has been a professional makeup artist for over 15 years and has been recognized for her talent and creativity and the latest trends and techniques in this wonderful world of makeup. Her best friend Angele has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and was very conscious that her business background helped her gain knowledge, experience, contacts and bravery to start her own business, or empire, as she likes to call it.
Together, the two friends created Fancy Faces – their very own makeup studio and brand – with the vision to not only have a beauty studio, academy and salon, but also to create their own makeup line/brand and take this to the world. Both have lived and worked in St. Maarten for several years, which is why they will be bringing their power of beauty to the island this carnival. But before then, St. Maarteners will have a chance to meet the ladies and learn more about makeup during their first “The Power of Beauty” Masterclass to be held on Monday, February 5, at which time Ruchella and Angele will bring together the best artists in the world of makeup in Aruba for the first time.
Not able to make it to Aruba? Fret not, Fancy Faces is looking forward to bringing the power of beauty and their high-level Masterclasses to other Caribbean islands, including St. Maarten. Their goal is to create and share the experience of “The Power of Beauty” with everyone. Also, “to inspire and empower other women to take risk, be creative, work hard, be passionate, take leadership and realize their dreams, whatever it may be – and if it’s to start their own business, do it,” concludes Angele.
