At 5:30pm this evening, Latoya Lake is launching her book It's like Déjà Vu with You at Holland House Beach Hotel. She will turn her book launch into a teachable moment, with an emphasis on encouraging others to step out in faith and explore talents other than what is to be expected. Set in a relaxed atmosphere, it will not only be inspiring but may also motivate you to write a book of your own.
It's like Déjà Vu with You highlights a few of St. Maarten's many passions, talents and flavours. A romantic book with a twist at the end, it's about a peppered tongue Caribbean woman, who navigates her own life and career, with a tendency to overthink things. With characters modelled after a few of her friends, the book also includes several real and fictional Caribbean islands.
