Jamtillean Reggae Bar & Restaurant

Wondering where to eat this weekend? You should be trying food from this new place!

What happens when Jamaican and Antillean spices get married? You get bold, new flavours of the newly opened Jamtillean restaurant. Part-owner Chef Damian prides himself on his new creations. He says, “I am all about food. I love cooking it, eating it and coming up with new ways to serve it.”

With many years of experience under his belt, the creative mind behind many of your favourite dishes leaving the kitchen at Skip Jack’s now has his own place. Where is it? Jamtillean is located on the waterfront of the Simpson Bay lagoon on the Cole Bay side. It’s in the same area as The Stone; so if you’re familiar with the area, you know it has a breath-taking view of the water and Simpson Bay Bridge.

Make sure you try out specials from their creative menu! Steamed fish, cassava bammi and escovich lobster are only part of the list. Also try out the West Indian oxtail, curried goat, jerk ribs and ackee & salt fish. Of course they’ve got international cuisine like pastas, grilled fish and filet mignon. Top it off with a spectacular cocktail like the Jamaican punch, run runner, screw driver, charo negro and the Malibu bay breeze.
