We love Mélange International Grill at Port de Plaisance for awesome kebabs cooked right at your table and the easy to handle prices. The set price for dinner is US $40, which allows guests to each have their choice of an appetizer, a salad and a side dish along with endless skewers of various meats or veggies. Currently, the dinner menu offers something new in addition to the skewers: New York Strip Steaks.
That, however, might be too much food for some, so Nikhil the owner has introduced a lighter menu, with a tapas style of serving. He is keen to inform the public that their happy hour is a great deal: 20% off the light bite menu and two-for-one beverages. “You can even get two bottles of wine for the price of one during the happy hour,” he told Out ’n About. Happy hour is from 5:30 to 6:30pm daily.
They also have a great lunch menu which features wraps made with homemade crepes instead of tortillas, specially prepared to be crisp on the outside. “I’m all about innovation,” he said, “That’s what it takes these days in the restaurant business; it’s a changing landscape all the time.” To this end, the restaurant offers free pickup and drop-off for groups coming from anywhere on the island, Dutch side or French side.

The Mélange’s concept of cuisine is cultural fusion, so there are influences of Greek, Turkish, Moroccan, Indian, Lebanese, Persian and more.
