Philipsburg alive after five: Area 44 Happy Hour & Party Bar opens

Philipsburg will come alive after 5:00pm with the grand opening of Area 44 Happy Hour and Party Bar at the West Indian-designed Promenade Mall at 44 Front Street, opposite Holland House Beach Hotel and the Roman Catholic Church. You will get a chance to enjoy networking with your business colleagues, political associates, best friends and family.

This new Happy Hour & Party Bar has a rustic look made up of cask rum drums. It also has a very laid back and down to earth atmosphere, with balconies overlooking the bar area. As of this Friday, June 10, happy hour will be weekly from 5:00 to 9:00pm in the open air courtyard setting of Area 44.

There is no cover charge. All are welcome to this spectacular opening event with special happy hour prices, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and Area 44’s house DJ CD Ranking with his super music and a dance floor, dancing girls, free rounds and special prizes. It’s definitely a place to see and be seen!

While there, sneak on over next door to the trendy Sheer Restaurant and check out its large air-conditioned bar and lounge, allowing you to bar hop within a two-minute walk.

Visit and help bring the capital of Philipsburg alive at five at Area 44.

Call Area 44 at 542-9635 for information. Parking: next to FirstCaribbean International Bank, behind Klass Electronics, Philipsburg Cultural Center, Scotia Bank, Boolchands and the public parking lot on Clem Labega Square.
