The Saba Tourism Bureau is thrilled to announce its 2025 events calendar, street fair schedule, and the launch of a newly designed events tab on its website. These developments align with Saba’s commitment to promoting an eco-conscious, adventurous, laid-back, and authentic island experience.
The goal is to create dynamic events that not only highlight the island’s unique charm but also entice travellers to explore beautiful Saba.
As the Bureau moves forward to cultivate events and activities on their beloved “Unspoiled Queen,” it will ensure that all initiatives align with Saba’s key tourism pillars. Through strategic partnerships with tourism partners, organizations, and regional stakeholders, the Bureau looks forward to offering engaging and diverse activities for both tourists and the local community to enjoy.
Kick-off Event: April Arts Fest Month
Our 2025 calendar launches with April Arts Fest Month, an exciting collaboration with the Sea & Learn Foundation’s Create & Learn program. Throughout the month, visitors and the community will have the opportunity to engage in creative workshops, artistic exhibitions, celebrating the island’s vibrant arts scene.
You can expect Saba’s Art Fest to feature an arts exhibit offering painting and embroidery workshops, live poetry readings, a fun kid’s zone and dance performances by the children of Child Focus. A focal point of the event is a headlining performance by Ms. Tanya Michelle of St. Maarten and tunes played by Dj Zander Zone. Delicious foods and sweets will be available for purchase by Island Flavor and Sherrie’s Sweets.
Exciting Thematic Months & Signature Events
Beyond April, each month will bring a distinctive theme, offering immersive experiences that cater to different interests:
- May: Experience Saba Month – a month dedicated to enhancing the experiences Saba offers tourists who travel to its Unspoiled Queen.
- June: Wellness & Rejuvenation Month – Featuring the Second Annual Yoga and Wellness retreat, along with wellness workshops, and mindfulness activities.
- August: Adventure Month – Celebrating Saba’s hiking and diving pillars.
- September: Tourism Awareness Month – a month-long event creating awareness around the importance of tourism in the community.
- November: Rum & Lobster Fest – Saba’s popular signature event. Savor the island’s finest culinary flavours.
During these thematic months, accommodations, restaurants, arts and crafters, island stakeholders and partners will participate in the events, making it a collaborative island experience.
The Sea & Learn Foundation will also host its renowned Create & Learn and Sea & Learn activities, adding further depth to the island’s cultural and environmental offerings.
