Spectators have the most fun!

~ Where to watch live sports this week ~

Get your game face on! Come out and cheer for the champs or rally for the underdogs. Make new friends in the stands, drink a cold beverage, watch the athletes do their best, sweat buckets and score big! Here’s what’s happening around the island this week!

Softball St. Maarten Pro Softball Association competitions are held Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at John Cooper Jose lake Sr. Ballpark in Dutch Cul de Sac. There will be two games on weekdays with first pitch set for 6:30pm Wednesday and 7:30pm on Thursday and Friday. Four games will run on Saturday and Sunday with first pitch set for 3:30pm each day.

Cricket – The KFC Cricket Classic continues at the Caribe Lumber Ballpark, behind Cost U Less. Saturday, February 6, the Conquerors take on the General Auto Repairs Kaieteur from 2:00pm. And then on Sunday, February 7, the Masters do battle against Caribbean General Contractors Spartanz, beginning at 11:00am.

Basketball – Ladies Basketball Championships are currently underway. Games are being played at Melford Hazel Sport and Recreation Center, Pond Island, on Sundays. Senior games start at 3:00pm and 5:00pm. Alternating Sundays (starting this weekend), Under-16 teams start play at 2:00pm. Entrance fee is $1. Food and drinks will be on sale.
