Vitiligo Educate, Inspire & Support SXM (V.E.I.S.S.) is hosting its first event since being declared in the Official Journal on August 11, 2021, and at the prefecture de Saint-Barthélemy et de Saint-Martin, the association is recognised.
V.E.I.S.S. is a non-profit association, which was created to provide awareness, education and support to people living with vitiligo and their families in Saint Martin / Sint Maarten and in the region.
Governed by the law of July 1, 1901, the Vitiligo Educate and Inspire Support SXM (V.E.I.S.S.) was founded by Gerline Isaac in June 2021. Declared in the Official Journal on August 11, 2021, and at the prefecture de Saint-Barthélemy et de Saint-Martin.
V.E.I.S.S. was created in order to assist children and adults diagnosed with vitiligo through their journey by sharing information, educating, inspiring and supporting in St. Martin / St. Maarten.
“Our main focus for this event is to introduce and inform the community about Vitiligo Educate and Inspire Support SXM (V.E.I.S.S.) Mission and Goals,” said Ms. Isaac. “We are anticipating 50 participants. Tickets are 20 euros for single people and 30 euros for couples. The price includes a T-shirt, refreshments and a small traditional breakfast. We would love for you to come out and support.”
