“We ain't goin' nowhere,
We ain't goin' nowhere
We can't be stopped now,
Cos it's Bad Boy for life”
Alright! Here we go. This piece is about to be seven parts bias about Tom Brady and three parts somewhat objective facts about Sunday’s Super Bowl. Next week, we will continue the piece that I started last week.
Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr., also known as Tom Brady, also known as The GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), and also known as Zeus – which is what I call him – is the quarterback for the New England Patriots.
Brady is considered the biggest "steal" in the history of the NFL Draft. He was amongst the last players selected when he was drafted by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Since being drafted, he has quarterbacked the Patriots to nine Super Bowls, been honoured with four Super Bowl MVP awards, won three league-MVP awards and is one of only two quarterbacks to win the Super Bowl in their first season as a starter. He is also one of two players to have won five Super Bowls, and the only player to have won them all with a single franchise.
Tom Brady is the only quarterback to reach 200 wins in the regular season, is the winningest quarterback in NFL history. With a postseason record of 29-10, leading the Patriots to an NFL-record eight consecutive AFC championship games since 2011 (thirteen overall), and has never had a losing season as a starting quarterback in the NFL. Brady and the Patriots subsequently reached the last three Super Bowls, becoming only the third team in NFL history to do so.
If you haven’t already grasped it, I am not a Patriots fan. I am merely a huge Tom Brady supporter; a groupie even. Call it what you want! Lol! It’s the same way that I feel about Carmelo – wherever he goes, I go.
But now some facts.
So, Super Bowl 53 is an upcoming American football game between the two-time defending AFC champion New England Patriots and the NFC champion Los Angeles Rams to determine the champion of the NFL for the 2018 season. The game is scheduled to be played on February 3, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. This will be the third Super Bowl in Atlanta.
This would be a rematch of Super Bowl 36 when the Rams were based in St. Louis. The offensive line being the strength of this Patriots team, this time the Rams might have the formula to stop Brady, who struggles against interior pressure. Aaron Donald, coming off a completely bonkers 20.5-sack season is the best defensive player in football.
This is warming up to be an amazing Super Bowl game. And "Madden" simulation has the Patriots winning 38-31.
