Carla Williams Johnson, CEO of Carli Communications, has been awarded Female Publicist CEO of the Year by International Network for the second year in a row.
CEO Monthly Magazine, a UK-based publication, has announced the winners of the inaugural Global CEO Excellence Awards, and Trinidadian-born Carla Williams Johnson is the proud recipient of the Female Publicist CEO of the Year for the second year in a row.
The awards were open to CEOs from all businesses operating around the world to commemorate their astonishing achievements as they create a lasting impression on their sectors.
Carla, who is on a mission to help Caribbean-based brand owners get seen, heard and paid globally, is still in awe of retaining her title and says that this win is not just for her, but also for her Caribbean brothers and sisters in business. She firmly believes that Caribbean business owners should no longer feel like they don't belong on a global stage.
Carla’s team just wrapped up their second annual Carli Connect event – Empowering through Purpose-Driven Platforms – an incredible event was geared toward helping Caribbean brand owners understand how to start embracing the things that make them authentically Caribbean, because Carla believes that is the very thing that will propel our businesses forward.
“Winning once was amazing…. but twice in a row? This is a testimony to the incredible talent that we have right here and what’s possible for Caribbean CEOs once we decide to make our mark globally,” the CEO said.
