~ Hurry and vote online ~
It’s that time again! Time to ring out the old and ring in the new! And that means voting on the Best of St. Maarten 2016! The survey is ready for you to place all your votes for your favourite places and people out there in our community.
Remember when we had pages in the newspaper that you filled in and then we had to sit and count it all up? Thank goodness it’s all quick and easy now that we’ve gone to digital voting via The Daily Herald website (www.thedailyherald.sx)! Ah! What would we do without technology?
Just go to The Daily Herald website and find the button for the Best Of 2016 survey. When you hit that link, you will be directed through the categories, such as “Best High End Restaurant” or “Best Hair Salon.” For each category, you will see several choices; these are the most popular answers in years past. You only have to pick your favourite, or if you don’t see your preferred choice, there is a window on each category that allows you to type in your choice. At the end, you get to verify all your answers, and then enter your email address. One vote per address will be allowed. (Just like before, one vote per person, guys!)
Speaking for the Special Editions crew, we are really happy to present our community with the opportunity to reflect on the year that we are concluding, and a great way to do that is the Best Of contest. It’s been so popular, we have been busy trying to keep everyone happy, which of course is impossible; but that is the way of surveys! So please; vote online! Results come out in January 2017.
