Christmas is a time for giving, showing and receiving love. The K1 Britannia Christmas Angels programme is a perfect way to show that this holiday season.
The foundation says this is the fifth anniversary of the programme and it’s always a joy to see the community come out, especially as a family and give back in this special way.
K1 Britannia Foundation and its volunteers will be at the Government Administration Building on Pond Island from Friday, December 14, to Sunday, December 16, from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
Two large Christmas trees will be filled with hundreds of little angels which were all made with love by the programme’s recipients. The angels represent a foster child, a Sister Basilia Center client, an elderly person of White and Yellow Cross Foundation, a Mental Health Foundation client, a Ujima Foundation member, a child at Player Development SXM or other underprivileged children who need some extra love this Christmas.
You can pass by, choose a special angel, buy a present for the child or elder it represents, and in return, you get to keep the little angel as a gift from that person.
Join the programme and feel the impact one single act can have on another child or elder.
