Annie and the gang are back, reopened after the storm and ready to escort you directly into your own personal shopping nirvana. Nowhere else on the island can you find such an eclectic collection of items – from books to jewellery, from soaps to toys, and of course lots of amazing cards!
Located in Palapa Marina in Simpson Bay, Good Cards is looking like new, but they had a ton of work to do to get it that way. “There was mud all from the lagoon in here,” says Annie, beaming with her signature smile. “We had to rebuild everything and restock, reorder and clean, clean, clean!”
Annie had just come back from a trip to order stock for the store when Hurricane Irma came barrelling through all our lives. Those shipments had to be blocked and reordered in smaller batches, but the vendors luckily understood her situation.
“I am so happy to be reopening,” said Annie as she arranged items on a shelf. “We all need to return to some kind of normalcy, and people have already been passing by asking if we are open, wanting to buy cards or just chat. So I am really looking forward to opening the doors again.”
