You may not exactly be feeling spoiled for choice right now when it comes to fun activities, but there’s lots to do at Seaside Nature Park – for kids and adults! The park shook off lockdown fever in mid-June with summer camp programmes for kids, where they enjoyed horseback riding, playing with different animals, and exploring the great outdoors.
You’ll enjoy lots of different outdoor activities right on the coastline, offering a beautiful view of our neighbouring islands. What sounds better right now than going horseback riding around the scenic 30-acre property, and then cooling down in the sea with the horses?
“The park is truly unique for Sint Maarten. We would like to promote a healthy lifestyle, being outdoors, staying active, spending time with family and friends and taking care of nature,” a park representative says.
Concerned about safety? Seaside Nature Park is proud to say that it offers a COVID-19 safe environment. Activities, as well as the property’s La Hacienda Beach Bar & Restaurant are outdoors; social distancing is easily kept, and groups are kept small for activities.

Horseback riding is available for kids and adults, accommodating all skill levels, and taking place from morning ’til sunset. Kids younger than six can enjoy pony rides. Private, duo, or group sessions can be arranged. La Hacienda is open for breakfast and lunch.
