ST. EUSTATIUS--One of the founders of Voluntary Corps St. Eustatius VKE Commander Ernest “Baraw” Patrick passed away last week.

Commander Patrick was born on March 15, 1953 on St. Eustatius to Margie and Charles Patrick.

He worked for 25 years as a member of the St. Eustatius Police Force until he retired.

Patrick then became Chief Security at F.D. Roosevelt Airport for many years and later retired once again.
