“Wishing everyone an eggsta special Easter.” This was The Daily Herald’s holiday wish for the public, hidden in carefully placed Easter eggs in our daily newspaper, and collected by our studious readers during our annual Easter Egg Giveaway.
The colourful eggs, each containing a letter, were printed in order and nestled within our daily publications. Participants that got the phrase correct were entered into a raffle to win five exciting prizes.
Bianca Bergsma can go on a relaxing vacation, having won herself two vouchers for tickets with regional air carrier WINAIR; Samantha Vassell can pamper herself with a lovely gift basket by Penha; little Nahla Watson will be contributing to some home improvement with a US $150 gift voucher from Kooyman; Jordania Robles can collect some health/wellness goodies with a $50 gift voucher from DA Drugstore; and Jitaina Phelipa will be keeping up with all the local news and entertainment with a half-year subscription to The Daily Herald.
